Riverlifen®
Generic Name: Acetaminophen, Ibuprofen, and Caffeine
Formulation: Capsule containing 325 mg of Acetaminophen, 200 mg of Ibuprofen, and 40 mg of Caffeine
Pharmacological Class: Analgesic
Indications for Riverlifen®:
Riverlifen® contains Acetaminophen, Ibuprofen, and Caffeine. Acetaminophen is an analgesic and antipyretic agent, while Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat mild to moderate pain and reduce inflammation. Caffeine, a central nervous system stimulant, is used as an adjunct to enhance the effectiveness of other analgesic drugs.
Indications:
- Reduction of pain, fever, and inflammation.
Riverlifen® Composition:
Each capsule contains:
- 325 mg of Acetaminophen
- 200 mg of Ibuprofen
- 40 mg of Caffeine
Dosage and Administration of Riverlifen®:
- Take Riverlifen® exactly as prescribed by your doctor. If you are unsure about how to use it, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Do not reduce or increase the dose or duration of use without consulting your doctor or pharmacist.
- To reduce gastrointestinal side effects, take the medication with food.
Missed Dose of Riverlifen®:
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not take two doses at once.
Overdose of Riverlifen®:
If you take more than the prescribed dose, immediately inform your doctor or seek medical attention.
Monitoring During Riverlifen® Treatment:
- Progress in the reduction of pain, fever, or inflammation.
- Blood pressure
- Complete blood count and liver function in case of prolonged use.
- Kidney function in patients at risk for renal failure.
- Serum electrolytes, if necessary.
- Signs of bleeding, such as bruising (especially in patients taking anticoagulants).
Contraindications for Riverlifen®:
- Allergy to Acetaminophen, Ibuprofen, Caffeine, or any other ingredients in the formulation
- History of sensitivity to other analgesics or antipyretics (including Aspirin)
- Simultaneous use with other medications containing Acetaminophen (maximum dose for adults without underlying diseases is 4 grams per day)
- Before or after heart surgery
- Heart failure or myocardial infarction
Warnings and Precautions for Riverlifen®:
- May cause drowsiness or dizziness. If you experience these side effects, avoid driving or engaging in activities requiring high levels of alertness (e.g., operating heavy machinery).
- Should be used cautiously in patients with heart conditions or high blood pressure. Inform your doctor if you have any of these conditions.
- If you experience severe allergic reactions (e.g., redness, swelling, blisters, or peeling skin, eye redness, or mouth, throat, nose, or eye sores), seek medical attention immediately.
- Use with caution in patients on medications such as Aspirin, anticoagulants, or corticosteroids that increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. Also use cautiously in those with advanced liver disease, blood clotting disorders, or alcohol consumption. Inform your doctor if you have a history of any of these conditions.
- In elderly, diabetic, or renal disease patients, and when taking medications like Captopril, Lisinopril, etc., there is an increased risk of high potassium levels in the blood. If you experience symptoms like irregular heartbeat, dizziness, weakness, lightheadedness, fainting, or shortness of breath, inform your doctor.
- Drink enough water and fluids during treatment.
- Caution is required in elderly patients, those with asthma, liver failure, or lupus. Inform your doctor about these conditions before starting the medication.
- Limit caffeine-containing drinks during treatment.
- Inform your doctor if you need to undergo any medical tests during treatment.
Use of Riverlifen® During Pregnancy and Breastfeeding:
- Consult your doctor before taking Riverlifen® during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Side Effects of Riverlifen®:
Like all medications, Riverlifen® may cause side effects, although not everyone experiences them. Some potential side effects include:
- Gastrointestinal issues, such as stomach pain and nausea
- Increased heart rate
- Insomnia or anxiety

Before using Riverlifen® with other medications or supplements, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Riverlifen® Packaging:
Each box contains 30 capsules (3 blister packs of 10 capsules).
Storage Conditions for Riverlifen®:
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Store below 30°C, away from light and moisture.
- Use before the expiration date on the packaging.
- Keep the medication in its original packaging.
