Indications: Used to relieve muscle spasticity and pain.

Baclofen is a muscle relaxant that reduces muscle stiffness by inhibiting certain reflexes and nerve signals.

Dosage Form

Oral tablets: 10 mg
How to Use and Dosage

Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor or pharmacist. Do not adjust the dose or duration of treatment without medical advice.

Take at the same time each day, with or without food.
Missed Dose

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember.

If it is close to the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose.

Do not double the dose.
Overdose

In case of overdose, contact your doctor or seek medical attention immediately.
Monitoring During Treatment
Your doctor may monitor:

EEG in patients with epilepsy

Withdrawal symptoms from baclofen

Signs of overdose (e.g., confusion, drowsiness, breathing problems)
Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to baclofen or any component of the formulation
Warnings and Precautions

Baclofen may cause drowsiness or dizziness; avoid driving or operating machinery if affected.

Inform your doctor if you have any urinary tract obstruction before starting baclofen.

Use with caution in patients with peptic ulcer disease, gastrointestinal motility disorders, or GI obstruction.

Use cautiously in patients with psychiatric disorders, kidney disease, or respiratory problems.

Patients with a history of seizures should be closely monitored.

Elderly patients may be more sensitive to side effects; use caution, especially with higher doses.

Not recommended for muscle stiffness due to rheumatoid arthritis.

Do not stop baclofen abruptly; taper under medical supervision.
